Today was one heck of a day. We had a party for my sister and brother-in-law due to they are moving away on Monday. The house was full of children and strangers. I didn’t know but half of those people who were here. I did get some cool footage for the video though. That will be posted soon.

A few days ago I was sitting at work. I was approached by an older gentleman. Come to find out, he was going to work at a company of ours that requires a photo id. So, I take him to get a picture taken and to make his id. We are sitting in the room and we start talking. He tells me that he’s lived basically in ever major site-seeing city in the States. And of course, New York is mentioned. I casually look over and state that I’ll be there in a matter of days.
::His eyes light up. “Oh really?” And he proceeds to tell me about life in New York. Shopping here, selling things there. “Do you like shoes?” I’m female, of course I love shoes. “Go here for this…go here for that…you have to go here, and then go there….God, I love New York!”
It was such a cool experience. He was getting such a thrill just remembering life in New York. He was so beside himself with the joy of his life back up north. His whole aura changed when New York was mentioned. He could have went on for hours, days even. It was so cool to see the mere mention of a city cause such a reaction.

Now, I’m off to edit video and sleep…..
